Sunflower Bank
Sunflower Bank of Salina has been meeting the needs of Kansans for more than 100 years. Kansas Trane is pleased to help make the bank's job just a little bit easier by providing it with HVAC equipment, controls and service.
Sunflower Bank operates three Trane IntelliPak rooftop units connected to 110 VAV units with electric heat; nine heat pump systems; and four fan-coil systems. Mike Estes, HVAC technician at Sunflower Bank, has been pleased with the results.
"Kansas Trane has great products," Estes says. "I have been pleased with our Trane equipment in the way it heats and cools our facility. From the top down, Kansas Trane has given great service in setting up the controls and equipment, servicing both, warranty issues (given the size and scope of the systems, there have been very few), and education. The service techs are always polite and are great at explaining the service that was done and anything I don't understand. Overall, they are just very good at what they do. It is comforting to have backup from Kansas Trane because HVAC is critical to our operation. Their customer service is top shelf."
Estes explains how Trane equipment has helped Sunflower Bank with energy savings.
"Having Kansas Trane install our Tracer Summit system, coupled with the VFD IntelliPaks, has given me the flexibility to tailor HVAC needs for many different areas of our facility. Being able to setup many areas with different schedules is a great energy saver. This system has the capability to monitor any aspect of the HVAC system. Some of the things I monitor are timed overrides, running hours, building pressure, heating and cooling hours, and many others. Being able to have alarm notification and access the system remotely from home is a big plus. This system allows us to control our energy usage."
"I would recommend this system and Kansas Trane's service to anyone. Our long-term plan is to incorporate this service into many of our locations."
